Consistently Negative Experience. Deseret First Credit Union consistently mistreats its "members" and charges the same high fees that you'd expect from huge corporate banks. It has virtually none of the benefits of working with a credit union. After being a member for 15 years I am finally fed up and switching all of my finances over to my other bank because their service is inconsistent, their tellers are misinformed and their fraud department seems lazy. I was told they didn't fully investigate my claims because they had a busy week with some other major claims and two months later they had done nothing. They are disorganized and slow except when it comes to charging you for their "services." I had heard of big banks like Wells Fargo pulling dirty tricks like running all of your withdrawals before all of your deposits in order to charge more fees but I never thought I would see this behavior from a locally, member owned credit union.…
