Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor.. In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

Take me Out-back!. What I love, and have always loved about Outback in Orem is that I am always greeted promptly and warmly. The manager, Jeff, always comes out and greets us to make sure how our meal is doing and just for some friendly chat. It's not obtrusive, and spot-on.

Being a steak man, I love the food there. My family are constant regulars, and even before we were, I noticed some great things about the place. First of all, if a dish isn't served to our liking, the food is taken back and brought back to our liking. That's good management, and good service.

I also love the atmosphere. Sure it's a theme restaurant, but it's fun.

I've really got no complaints about the place. The food is good, Jeff the manager is great and operates a great show and shows how it's supposed to be done. And the servers are always on top of things. If they aren't, we just let Jeff know, and he makes it work.

It's a good day, mate.

Orem is the BEST!!!. I have two little boys that think that they are romeo's. I took them to Outback and it was an awesome treat. The food was great. However, we had the best service I have ever had. The waitress was friendly and kind to my boys. At the end of our meal, my little romeo's had her walk them out to our car. That is kind and friendly service. Plus it made their day!
