Terrible customer service

When I ordered my shutters I was promised they would be installed in 4-6 weeks. 13 weeks later, I only have 2 of my 5 shutters installed. I have had such the run around with this company, it is insane. I have heard every excuse in the book... "Your order got lost in the shuffle." (Really? With this economy- you lost my order of $2600?). "We don't have the right size wood in stock." Really? When you took my order 13 weeks ago, with my 1/2 deposit maybe you should have ordered the wood to make them. The only time I would get any info. about my order was if I called them. Terrible customer service. I will never use them again!

I dropped off a blackout shade at the Springville, Utah Blind Man fabrication facility 8/10/2009. The repair was completed and the shade/blind was ready to pick up the following morning 8/11/2009.
This was our only repair needed on a house full of blinds that is now 4 years old. Good quality product and good customer service Blind Man !!!!!!!!

Let me warn you about The Blind Man, so you won't be as frustrated as I am. My main problem is with their customer service, although I haven't been very impressed by their blinds either.
First, After we ordered our blinds, they assured us that they would get them to us in no more than 2 weeks. After 2 1/2 weeks had passed, we called and found that some of the blinds we ordered they didn't have at the factory and were waiting on materials to arrive. Understandable, but still - why didn't they call me?
Two weeks after that, we were still waiting and had not heard back. I called and they said they would install some of our blinds, but that the others were still waiting on materials. Again, why didn't someone call?
In addition to that, the install guys only work Monday - Thursday. So if your blinds have problems on Thursday night like mine did (the bracket at the top of the blinds broke), don't expect anyone to even schedule an appointment until Monday -- if they call you back at all.
