Not worth it

Rice King is an alright restaurant, but totally not worth what you pay for the food. The portions aren't great (we all walked away still feeling hungry) and the food was buffet quality.
Best chinese in Provo
by songbirdsd22 at Citysearch
I hadn't heard of this place until my husband and I started dating. He and his roommates ate at the Rice King at least twice a month (one of his roommates went at once or twice a week!). From the first time I set foot in the place, I was hooked. The lunch specials are an incredible deal--a HUGE plate heaping with more food than you can possibly eat, plus soup on the side. The owner, Victor, is a gem. He knows us by name and always stops to talk. What a fabulous, comfortable restaurant. We love it!
- Pros: a TON of food for very little money, fast and friendly service
- Cons: the decor isn't super fancy? that's all I can think of
I LOVE THE RICE KING! VEGAN FRIENDLY TOO!
by iluvmiso at Citysearch
The Rice King is probably the only place that brings me as far down south as Provo. I love their vegetarian/vegan menu. VEGAN FRIENDLY! It's not extremely clean at times and occasionally there are kids running around everywhere - but this isn't serious enough to not go. The staff is very friendly and you develope a good relationship with them.
- Pros: Good food, nice staff.
Great Food!!!
by princessona85 at Citysearch
Extremely inexpensive and yet awesome food. For $7.25 you get a soda, egg drop soup, 4 cheese wontons, ham fried rice & a huge plate of your choice of entree (my choice was cashew chicken and it was delicious!) I expected chinese buffet quality and it was completely the opposite! I think that besides P.F. Changs it is the BEST chinese food in the Provo area, and yet still at a great price! At the back of the menu the have couple and family specials, definitely take advantage! By the way at $7.25 thats cheaper than the Chinese buffet, and you get to take home left overs! The only con is that the atmosphere is not as classy as P.F. Changs but yet still very clean.
- Pros: Delicious food, and extremely inexpensive!
- Cons: Sort of a hole in the wall, the atmosphere isn't amazing

This is practically a hole in the wall but it has great food. It's delicious and served piping hot.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Good Food, Fun Owner
- Cons: Parking, Small Eating Areas
