Great food, better when ordered out.. I am not a big fan of chinese buffet's but Lotus Garden is, in my opinion, the best chinese buffet i have been to in the state. My suggestion, however, is to order your food out. They always make it fresh so there is no chance it has been sitting out on the floor for hours. I have orderd out many times from Lotus Garden and have not been dissapointed. If you are craving good chinese food, do yourself a favor and order from Lotus Garden.

Avoid at all costs. I love Chinese food. I had virtually given up trying to find a good chinese buffet in Utah County when I found then reviews for Lotus. When I found that it had Mongolian BBQ and outstanding reviews on this site my wife and I went staight over for lunch. The service was not good at all as we waited almost 10 minutes and were through an entire plate of food before our drinks came. The food was very dissapointing...dry from heat lamp, old, poor selection. The sad part was that some of the items tasted like if they were fresh they would be somewhat nice.

The worst part came when we tried the Mongolian BBQ bar. Very limited choice of ingredients with no one available to help us, but worst of all there was a crawly creature that rhymes with Poach (this website will not allow you to use that word in a post) crawling around the food bar. When I noticed it, it wasn't in the food, when it did try to get into the food I tried to knock it away. When I told the employee he DIDN'T even care!!!

If you have ever been to a truly good Chinese Buffet, don't waste your time going here. I have been in the kitchens of a lot of restaurants and as a general rule, whatever the front rates on a scale of 1 to 10 the kitchen is a good 5 or 6 points lower (yes even for some of the very expensive "Fancy" places. One R to the O to the ACH in the food out front means I DON"T WANT TO SEE THE KITCHEN!!!

I will NEVER eat there again and the only person I will recomend visit this place in the near future is the health inspecter. Maybe I will tell Johnny Walker of Seatle, Washinton to eat there before it gets shut down. Man I hate that guy!!

Fantastic Food and Service. I am pretty much a regular now at the Lotus Garden Buffet. The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly. One thing I like is that it is a clean restaurant with fantastic prices and service. Definitely one of Utah County's best for Chinse Food Buffets.

Delicious & Authentic. Don't go if you're looking for haute atmosphere, but from a food perspective--Lotus Garden is an overlooked gem among Utah Valley's Chinese restaurants. Their all-day buffet is reasonably priced ($8) and has dishes for every palate, from the American-Chinese standards to more authentic fare. I especially enjoyed the seafood dishes, including head & tail :-). For those who want to mix up their own dishes, they have a full Mongolian barbecue as well. If you're in downtown Provo and are looking for some great Chinese food without the long lines or fancy decor, do yourself a favor and check it out.
