Okay food
by dalishas
This is much like an average Italian restaurant that tastes like the "homemade" sauces are from a bottle. They don't seem very fresh and the flavors don't vary from each dish which isn't good. I had lasagna, my husband had pizza and my father had manicotti. The red sauce on each was okay and tasted the same even though each dish is totally different. I wouldn't go back. Not a bad price, but not good enough food. Cute location. The waiter was very nice and attentive and so was the manager/owner. They are very kind just need to make their food more flavorful and tasty.

The Real Deal
by dpvan
I enjoy Italian food and have eaten at great Italian restaurants from New York to San Francisco. Ottavio?s is terrific, better than some highly-recommended places in much larger cities. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food has always been great. My wife and I have eaten there 15-20 times and neither of us has ever had anything but an excellent meal.
If you don?t want to hear Happy Birthday in Italian, don?t let it slip that it is your birthday. The restaurant has an accordion player and often has vocal performance majors from BYU singing opera selections on the weekends.
- Cons: Reservations are a good idea on weekends.
A Lot Like the Olive Garden
by gene435
This is a pretty restaurant that makes u think that the food is home made and authentic, but the food and the sauces taste pretty much like the Olive Garden. Not bad, but not great. We had a pizza from the oven and it was the best thing ordered. The servers were nice and the portions were generous. The manager was really attentive and told us about desserts. They were good.
