Not that Great. The menu is pretty limited about six different options with lots of game (the buffalo was good, but not great). The service was good and it was nice to drive up into the mountains. The wine list was expensive and the plates were pretty but lacked flavor. I did like my dessert, in fact, dessert was the best part of the meal.

A romantic dining room built around its namesake tree.. The Scene
Befitting its Sundance Resort home, Tree Room is the height of rustic elegance: Candlelight and white-linen tablecloths enrich the rough-hewn, lodgey look of the wood-heavy dining room. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a forest-scape and a tree growing through the restaurant's roof bring patrons comfortably close to nature.

The Food
Chef Jason Knibb utilizes organic ingredients, some grown at Sundance Farms, to create his self-described "seasonal mountain cuisine" (which seems merely a euphemism for New American with a view). Don't miss the vibrant salad aromatic with homegrown herbs. The peekytoe crab and asparagus with herbed phyllo is a great appetizer. Main courses showcase natural flavors of fresh, seasonal ingredients such as grilled swordfish with vine-ripened tomatoes, pea shoots and a white bean puree; and delicious risottos and pastas.

Foundry Grill!!!. Go next door to the foundry grill and eat the same great food but with a more csual atmosphere. Every time I eat here it gets better. The service is great and many times people at the table around my own have engaged us in conversation. It's the kind of place you could stay at all night.

Evening in the Stars. Amazing food, ambience, service!! I think this restaurant is fabulous. To top off the evening, Robert Redford wished us a good night. I really cannot say enough about my dining experience to adequately portray how much I enjoyed dining here.
