In a town with truly bad chinese food, China Lily runs the gamut from very good to below satisfactory. In the early days, the original Provo location displayed this schizophrenic behavior in time with whether Lily was on the premises or not. She always gave special attention to her customers, she made you feel important, and in those early days the food was spectacular, with a fruit juice thread running through her several recipies, a distinctively and seductively sweet note (better than what P.F. Chang's does in a more food-chainish way) to the very light and yet scrumptuous varieties of chinese dishes she had. But, when she was away -- the food was ok to less than ok. When Lily expanded to an Orem, Salt Lake, and Lindon location, the food leveled out as satisfactory but none ever rivaled the original Provo location in the early days. She sold it and her replacement, who is always there, maintains a mostly ok quality, occassionally really good and a bit too often really bad.

China Lily is a great place for chinese food in Lindon. This is a pretty new facility with a very friendly staff and great service! The soups are wonderful as are all the dishes I've ever had there. If you want Chinese food in the Wasatch Front, you should go here! Average pricing.
