I was pleased. I got my first tattoo their about 8 years ago. When they were located in orem/provo area. Steve was actually the one who did it. I was very pleased with the quality of work they did and the cleanliness. I haven't been to their new location since I found out they moved. Though I have been told he did go to deep on mine i like how it feels. Its a scorpion and you can feel the ribs so to say going down its back.

AWESOME!. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were really patient at helping me design and place my first Tattoo. Honest with what i should expect and what was possible. I would send my mom there if she would ever get tattooed or pierced.

The worst tattoo shop in utah. This tattoo shop is extremely filthy. Their work is terrible , and hideous. There were people living in the tattoo shop while tattoo ing hundreds of people. It is not a sterile enviornment at all. It is sincerely discusting. Please do not take the risk of going to this dirty tattoo shop, it would be very unhealthy. tattoos are very seriouse when you get them and you take a risk of getting a blood bourne pahtogen. Make sure where you go is sterile, clean, and has new equipment. DO NOT MAKe THE MISTAKE OF GOING TO THIS TATTOO SHOP!

I,m not sure what tattoo shop you are referring to but Happy Valley Tattoo has the highest ratings of any tattoo shop in Utah county by the Health Dept for cleanliness and being sterile. There is nobody living in the tattoo shop. The shop uses completely all sterilized and disposable needles and tubes. The shop is cleaned an scrubbed daily. If this is truly how you feel about the shop and you have been in the shop to witness the filthy conditions you described then I please invite you to call the Utah County Health Dept and speak with Jason or Sam about the situation. If you are a friend of a competitor then please discontinue your ratings and come into our tattoo shop and visit my wife and I. Our names are Steve and Jeri, not Doc and Kits.

Worse Tattoo Place in Utah.
I've been looking around at getting a tattoo in northern Utah, and I heard a lot of bad stories about this place. I have had two friends get tattoos done at this place and they both had really bad experiences.
My first friend went and he had a really simple tattoo. Three letters, the initials of a friend. The first warning sign was when the "artist" kept putting outline on crooked-but he stayed. End result, the letters were put on crooked and eventually they'll bleed together.
My second friend also went to Happy Valley. Her tattoo was so poorly done that she had to go to another tattoo shop to get fixed.

Nice people, bad tattoos. My tattoo was a symbol extremely simple one color. I had it redone because of so many holes and then when i had it redone they changed the symbol. Now it is also 2-toned, They went way too deep. I plan on getting it redone in a year when I have the money to fork out on a real artists. They were very nice people though.
