The menu sounds much better than reality. First off, the waiter spent far too much time telling us about the special. The couple next to us arrived 15 minutes after us and got a better table and their food before we did- always frustrating (we did have a reservation as well). My caeser salad was bland, frankly the salad mixes at the local grocery stores are much better. My pork chop was good, but the accompanying roasted potatoes had no seasoning whatsoever. My wife's capreze salad was OK, but the pomegranete vinagrette the waiter suggested was either completely missing or simply flavorless - some fresh ground pepper would have really helped. My wife's filet mignon was good and the leek and potatoes au-grautin was excellent - the highlight of the evening. The location is unbeatable, but don't bother with the Foundry Grill, pay the extra for the Tree Room to get a meal that matches the scenery or grab a burger on the way up and have a picnic on the grass.
