One of my favorites!. I love love love the Spaghetti Factory! I have been coming here for years, and I am never disappointed!
Expensive for mediocre spaghetti. We like the spaghetti factory for the decor and service and the two or three menu items that we find really good (such as the cheesy buttery spaghetti). But overall the prices are just too high for what amounts to mediocre food. For example, the "caesar" salad is just a pile of regular salad mix from a bag, complete with carrots and other slivers of vegetables, covered in caesar dressing. How can you honestly be too cheap to make a correct caesar salad? The chicken marsala, normally a favorite of mine when I eat out, consisted of a piece of bland chicken drenched in a heavy, thick, dark gravy - and it tasted horrible.
Kitschy Italian restaurant churns out heaping plates of pasta that won't break the bank..
In Short
Whimsical antiques and decorative items--velvet armchairs, vintage-looking fringed lamps and booths made from iron bedsteads--fill the dining room. The OSF Classics menu offers spaghetti with a choice of mushroom sauce, rich meat sauce, browned butter and feta-like mizithra cheese sauce, and more. Other popular favorites are the baked lasagna--layers of noodles, tomato sauce and four kinds of cheese--and the fettuccine Alfredo. Meals include a green salad, fresh-baked bread and ice cream.
