Provo never even knew what they had lost. I recommend this restraurant ridiculously high, but it doesn't do much good. Pampas is no longer with us. Future generations will not be able to enjoy, as we once did, the incredible, juicy, seared steaks, crisp and tender empanadas, nor the indescribable house bread and dip. Pampas can't be blamed, they offered whole meals for 2 for $20 (empanadas, and entire skillet filled with steak, shrimp and every desireable meat, as well as dessert) so you can't say it was out of your price range. The dishes were beautiful, perfectly seared steaks, vertical wrapped mashed potatoes, the brightest vegtables nature could deliver. So it's not that they didn't uplift and inspire the senses. I don't know what more I could have done, I told everyone I knew, we went often, we celebrated every occasion there. I guess that is my only solace, that although our time together was short, I know that I lived it to the fullest. Goodbye Pampas, I will never forget you, and I will always appreciate what you were to me.
excelet. it feels good to see the chefs make the food on the spot for me gives the security of the clean kitchen. Outstanding presentations on all of the dishes. The steaks were cooked to the right tempeture. The only restaurant in the heart of Provo that uses colby beef.
