Best Tattoo Parlor In Utah.
My name is Bleu Adams, I am co-owner of Painted Temple Tattoo and Art Gallery. We are a clean, friendly and professional shop with three very talented artists. I only recently became aware of the slanderous and malicious comments left on this website by ?snowgirly? and would like to present a rebuttal.
Let me first state that deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are accepted only after an appointment is made, in this case 2 appointments for a mother and daughter, and are not returned if the appointment is cancelled by the client. This is a common practice among tattoo shops as well as service oriented businesses.
We only received one phone call from this particular client before she cancelled her appointment and sent her daughter in to retrieve artwork that had been left as a reference. One week later, she was demanding her deposit be returned.
Our business is and always has been run in an illegal substance and alcohol free environment. Our artists are licensed and have several years of individual experience. Our customers are treated fairly, with honesty and integrity, which is why so many of them return. Our shop is clean and professional, featuring fine art from many local artists.
Please visit our website at paintedtemple com or visit us personally for an unbiased opinion.
Worst Tattoo Parlor in all of Utah. The tattoo artist at the painted temple is the owner and the only tattoo artist there. He has absolutely no ethics, no business sense, little skill and no compassion. When you get a tattoo, you want to be able to trust the person. I paid him $40 to design a tattoo for me, he said he would have it done in a week and then we could adjust it until I liked it and then we would go ahead and tattoo. A week passed and no phone call. SO I called him, he was obviously intoxicated at his shop tattooing someone else and with a laugh said, "oh yea, haven't gotten to it, I?ll draw it up tomorrow." Ok, so I call three days later, still nothing drawn. After three weeks of him having my $40 and not designing anything for me, I called and told him I just wanted to forget about it and I'd come in and pick up my sketches and if he wouldn't mind, my $40 seeing as he did absolutely nothing to earn it. He proceeded to get nasty with me on the phone, told me I made him lose money so he wasn't going to give me $@*! And continued to disrespect me until I said fine, if it's that important to you to take $40 you did not earn then so be it. He said ok, thanks and hung up. Wow! What poor business sense and incredible lack of respect. I have several tattoos and have never had an artist treat me with such disrespect or put off a potential customer so bad in all my years of frequenting tattoo shops. Do yourself a favor, skip going to Oak at the Painted Temple in Provo, there are 100's of other better tattoo parlors all over Utah who will not only treat you with respect and care, but also want your business because they know that a good tattoo on someone?s body is the best advertisement they can get.
